What to Expect

Troy United Methodist Church is located almost exactly 2 miles EAST of I-35 on FM 935. Our church is a safe and welcoming place where you can authentically connect with others who are exploring what it means to be a follower of Jesus.

 

When and where are the services?

We worship at 10 am on Sunday morning. The service is a blended service that is make up of traditional hymn and liturgy in addition to contemporary worship music. It also is represented by people of all ages! 

 

What is available for me and my family?

CHILDREN — Sunday School for all ages, including a nursery, plus Wednesday night activities.

YOUTH — an enthusiastic group of junior and senior high school students meet regularly on Sunday mornings in Sunday school and on Sunday evenings from 5:00-6:30 pm. for faith, fun and fellowship. Open Gym 3:00-5:00
 
WOMEN – Women are involved in Sunday school, Emmaus reunion groups, bible studies and we have a large selection of women’s ministry events throughout the year.
 
MEN – Men are involved in Sunday school, Emmaus reunion groups, bible studies and missions.

What do I wear?

Come as you are. We are not formal, but faithful.

Where do I park and enter?

As you enter form the main road, continue straight to the back to enter our sanctuary doors. There will be people there to welcome you and direct you to various locations.

 

How can I stay connected to what is happening at Troy UMC?

We would love to share with you all that is happening at Troy UMC. Our weekly announcements are updated and posted to our screen on Sunday mornings. We have a church Facebook Page – Troy United Methodist – we email a church newsletter once a month and post to the website. Please continue to visit our website for up-to- date news!
