Children’s Ministry
Our Children’s Ministry is led by Christin Ivey. It’s her goal that we offer Christ-centered activities for children birth through 5th grade. Some of those activities include learning on Sunday mornings in LYFE Groups (Living Your Faith Everyday – classes), Wednesday Nite Live activities, Harvest Fun Night, Eggstravaganza, Bible camp, Vacation Bible School, and many more. In every planned activity, we want for your children to learn more about Jesus and how to be a Christ follower through real life application. As a parent, you can expect that your child will be well cared for by Ministry Safe approved volunteers while at any function of the Troy UMC Children’s Ministry.
Youth Ministry
Our Youth Ministry is led by Joey Gresham. Youth meet on Sunday mornings at 9:45 for Sunday school, on Sunday evenings for Bible study, games, fellowship and a meal, and on Wednesday evenings for midweek Bible study and games. Throughout the year, many other youth events take place like Mission Trip, Lock-Ins, Day in the Life of the Homeless, and many more. It’s Joey’s goal that the students in this ministry understand that the good news of the gospel is specifically for them. Though students can be guaranteed to have fun and goofy from time to time, Joey strives to further each student’s walk with the Lord above all else. As a parent, you can expect that your student will be well cared for by Ministry Safe approved volunteers while at any function of the Troy UMC Youth Ministry.

Women’s Ministry
Our Women’s Ministry is led by ShaShawna Bush along with a Women’s Council. The Women’s Council plans events specifically for women of all ages and stages of life throughout the year. Events include our annual Women’s Retreat, Bible studies, Ladies Mother/Daughter banquet, Summer Soul Sisters, etc. It’s the mission of the Women’s Ministry to unite women together so that they can grow in their walk with the Lord and better serve those around them.

Family Ministry

The Family Ministry is co-led by Christin Ivey and ShaShawna Bush. It’s the goal of the Family Ministry to bring families together in fellowship, offer scriptural teaching, and start spiritual conversation that families can continue at home. Throughout the year we offer many opportunities for families to get together with their fellow church family members such as Wednesday Nite Live games, scavenger hunts, Family Advent Night, Journey to the Cross at Lent, Family Movie Nights, etc. We seek to reach families of all sizes and shapes, ages and stages, and across the generations.

JOY Ministry

The JOY Ministry’s (Just Older Youth) mission is to reach out to those in our church as well as an open invitation to the entire community who are in the golden years of their lives. This ministry is led by Cindy Havard. Cindy carefully plans activities and programs for those in the JOY Ministry to come together in service, fellowship, learning, enjoying day trips together and much more. Those in the JOY Ministry can expect lots of Christian fellowship together in any function they attend and get to know others through sharing life and faith together.
